Delivering enhanced value through integration of the new mobility service and urban ecosystems

Disruptive (groundbreaking) solutions provided through the mobility service can mitigate traffic congestion and reduce exhaust emissions from vehicles and help us realize a sustainable society that is safer and cleaner. We are expected to play a leading role in the field of CASE (comprising the four segments: Connected, Autonomous, Sharing, and Electrification) that will revolutionize the automotive industry.
Our mission is to create new value in the mobility service that Nissan is expected to offer by understanding the needs of the mobility service market, accumulating the know-how on a global scale as we work collaboratively with all the stakeholders inside the company.

Main Tasks

Develop a new business model by working collaboratively with the mobility service teams of the respective region and work unit

  • 【Business intelligence & market size forecasting】
    Develop a model of the mobility service market (e.g., aggregate market demand and revenue) and apply the model to a decision-making process inside the company.
  • 【Model development of mobility service businesses through PoC】
    Using simulation and real-world data, conduct a PoC of solutions including car-sharing and develop a superior business model. Share the knowledge gained through accumulated experience with mobility service teams of the respective region around the globe.
  • 【Business planning to deliver the next-generation mobility service】
    • Develop a business plan related to the next-generation mobility service in major countries
    • Identify a key enabler in Nissan Global through the planning work
  • 【Vehicle preparation】
    Clarify vehicles to be marketed in the next-generation mobility service, and work with the development team
