All of us can contribute to digitization, as it is a culture and behavior change as much as it is a technology change.

The ISIT department is unique because it is involved in systems across all of Nissan’s functions and can grasp the overall movements of the company. We will change our way of working to more agile and speed up each approach for the business. To achieve this, we will implement more digital-based project delivery and data utilization.

Nissan is now in a challenging situation. Digital transformation and “feeling digital” is one action that would drive Nissan’s future success. That is why we will continue to increase our ISIT workforce.

Hiring new members with high technical expertise is essential to strengthen our in-house ISIT workforce to drive digital transformation and innovation. We are also actively working to upgrade our training systems and mechanisms that will enable employees in the ISIT to further upgrade their skills. Furthermore, we will work as One Team in collaboration with each region to drive our innovation to drive Nissan’s success.
